Murray spent the weeks leading up to New Year working with a talented cast and crew in Germany on the MUSICAL STARNIGHTS show.

Rehearsals went really well, and Murray Grant is back in the UK - and it would appear that the show is hitting all the right notes in Germany just now. What a start to 2012! Read the first review here (in German!) and see more photos over on the MGA Productions Facebook site.

Murray will be choreographing and directing the winter show for Fierce Theatre Company.

Fantastic Edinburgh-based youth theatre company FIERCE will be presenting another show of favourite musical theatre hits. Catch some of Scotland's most talented young performers in this production of famous fairytale and fantasy numbers. More information and booking details here.

Murray's work with The MGA Academy continues with new concert performance THE NEWSICAL.

Murray will be directing this semi-staged concert celebration of some of the most exciting and moving new musical theatre work around. Including New Writing, previously unperformed material and world premieres, the show features Full-Time students from The MGA Academy of Performing Arts. Murray will also be directing and choreographing several shows in 2011 with the MGA Full-Time Students, including dance revue STEP IN TIME and the hit Mel Brooks' musical THE PRODUCERS - more coming soon.

Murray is busy working on a new Musical to open at the 2011 Edinburgh fringe, '11'.

"11" is a powerful new musical weaving the stories of people who have experienced war over the last century and the effect it has on their lives. Why do we continue to send young men to die? Is one person's martyr another man's terrorist? With original songs and music by Ian Hammond Brown, composer/lyricist of the sell out production of 'Whisky Galore - A Musical' as well as 'Blude Red'. A new show has been choreographed by Murray. GUYS SING DOLLS features great male performances of classic female songs, and stars West End performers Graham Doherty, Tim Newman, Andrew Gowland and Anton Stephans. Murray is once again working with World Wide Events to create another spectacular show of classic musical hits. He will be directing and choreographing another group of young and talented performers before they head off around Europe. Get more information on the European tour here.

Murray has been working with the students at The MGA Academy, Edinburgh, directing and choreographing their up-coming tour of Beyond Broadway, written by Tim Newman.
