About Murray

Murray graduated from Bird College in 2001, and enjoyed seven years as a professional performer before moving into a career as a choreographer. He has continued to apply the invaluable experience gained during these years performing in shows including Grease and Jesus Christ Superstar to his choreography work today.

Murray has worked for P&O Cruises as director and choreographer, including on The Phantom of the P’opera and Carnaby Street Capers aboard MV Aurora as it sailed from San Francisco to Sydney in March 2008.

In summer 2008 Murray choreographed the German tour of Best of Musicals for World Wide Events. He returned as choreographer for the show when it toured Europe in winter 2008/09 and directed and choreographed for the 2009/10 European tour. In 2010 he directed the European tour of Musical Starlights for WWE, and has also directed and choreographed their International tour of 12 Tenors.

Other recent choreography credits include: Moulin Rouge video promotion, German Tour; flashmob for Union Square opening ceremony, Aberdeen and Saturday Night Fever flashmob at the Sheraton Hotel (both Scotland).

Murray is founder of The Murray Grant Dancers, a new dance troupe working internationally on the corporate scene.
